This healthy tasty dessert is a sure crowd pleaser and a good one to teach the children.
Figs with Mascarpone Honey & Pistachios
Fresh figs (make sure they are well washed)
1 tsp of Mascarpone per fig
Lemon zest to taste
Drizzle of Light honey
Cut figs in quarters from the stem of the fig and place in the centre of the plate. In a bowl add mascarpone and grate lemon zest and mix well. Scoop about 1 teaspoon of the mascarpone mixture into each fig. Drizzle with honey and scatter with pistachio kernels. Serve and enjoy!
